Aimee Schimanski, owner graduated from Haskana Institute of Hair Design, taught hair care and design, and then bought the school in 2007. In May 2010, she sold Haskana Institute to be closer to her family and to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning her own salon. Aimee, a resident of Grayslake for six years, has two children and is actively involved in the Grayslake community through various sports, clubs and charities.

We strive to create an atmosphere of camaraderie and partnership at My Friend’s Salon. Our shared vision is to provide top quality hair care in a family friendly-atmosphere.
